With basic SLR courses limited to a maximum of ten students per day and starting at $245 per student, the courses are quick and affordable and will open your eyes to what your camera really can do. The photos are all there in your camera right now, you just need to learn how to get them out! Don’t be a slave to your camera, make your camera work for you!

Topics covered include:

• Learning to use your camera in Manual Mode 
• The modes on your camera. What they do & when to use them?
• Using your camera in M (manual) mode to get the best results
• Composing photos (subject positioning and lighting)
• Depth of field (making your subject really stand out)
• Manual exposure and Manual flash
• Flash modes explained (high speed & 2nd curtain flash)
• Aperture, shutter and ISO relationship explained
• Courseware to take home with you.

Note that this is a hands on class so you need to bring your digital SLR, flash and tripod with you. Please make sure all your batteries are charged the night before. There will be a three hour classroom tutorial followed by some real world examples of using your camera. Classes start at 9am and go to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

A model is supplied for the practical section of the class. This course is aimed at the amateur / family photographer that wants to take better photos.
