Magazine Photography Course

Actual course dates vary depending on bookings. As each course fills up we set a date for that course usually four weeks out to give people plenty of notice. We are currently planning our next course early August.

Learning to shoot an entire magazine spread. This is an intensive two day course. Day 1 is theory and learning the various requirements of magazines and the gear we use. Day two is practical where you actually get an opportunity to use and learn the studio gear. Although we use Broncolour studio gear, these techniques can be applied to any portable or AC studio equipment. As a published photographer you will enjoy much more respect and admiration from your customers and peers. To the best of our knowledge no other photographer with a proven track record like we have offers a course like this.

• Using a light meter
• Using a colour card
• Posing a model for a magazine
• Composing your shots for a magazine
• Contacting magazines to sell your shoots
• Working with different lighting conditions
• Maximum body and muscle definition
• Depth of field
• A copy of the Passion of the Art – Shooting Glamour DVD
• Courseware is supplied to each student for later reference of the topics covered.

 Lunch is supplied for both days and a model is supplied for day two of the class. This shoot will be based in an old rustic garage.
